Sorry but this is anything but ultimate lmao. Damage to close for what reason with no Perma flame shield? Tryna die instantly leaving yourself near zero time to dodge sitting in front of a mob, not using the distant damage when your conjurations create frozen orbs screens away? Ridiculous mistake, and distant damage has higher base values than close. I'm using a staff, missing an aspect, only +6 to orb and I'm clearing 99 faster 🤣 so many clueless people calling their builds ultimate... Yeah ultimate trash. Don't fool beginners with your flawed thought process dude.

4:55 ROLMFAO, Dude you are talking about a company that was warned about the state of D4 long before release, the Closed beta test, testers wrote a HUGE list of problems that needed to be addressed. Guess what Blizzard did, they said GFY testers what do you know, the rest is history. Blizzard are so far stuck up their own ass they can still see the Blizzard of yester year but we all know they made the females ugly because the people that would never play D4 cried. Oh and they don't even play their own game BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT GAMERS.

Blizzard is not doing the math... so true It's been patch after patch. Even back in S0 I saw this. I have spreadsheets showing the base damage of many skills just makes no sense at all, and that certain aspects give direct damage buffs while others are "skill might do X but with a 30% damage penalty" From day 1 the blizzard solution has been "x chance goes from 15 to 20% and damage penalty reduced from 30 to 25%"... thats not going to cut it when the skill needs a 500% damage buff to be viable. example: Chain lightning bounces 1 more time (maybe, because its still a chance to instead of always, and no damage multiplier on the aspect). Does nothing for the fact the skill damage is insanely low and the bounce mechanics are awkward and inefficient. meanwhile they gave incinerate a new aspect that gives it 3 flames and does 70% more damage and lo and behold its actually somewhat playable now. Frozen orb aspect gives two extra explosions, which even though they are penalized still doubles the damage of the skill so is at least useable now that they fixed it and gave it a unique that slaps on a bunch of free summons and spell casts. Fireball has gloves that come with a damage penalty (and oh look they reduced the penalty another 5%, wonder why nobody plays it yet) and an aspect for some crit damage which doesn't help when the base damage is garbage.

The basic attack builds are king right now because moonrise and adaptability both give 80% damage multipliers which is more than double what a normal aspect gives. They get free attack speed as well from moonrise and rapid In addition, those S tier builds all have an additional unique or temper that adds another huge damage boost to the specific basic skill. For example cleave temper for bash is insane damage % (additive, but 100s/1000s of %) plus AoE. Flameweaver gloves give a 70% multiplier and shotgun effect to firebolt. Do the damage math just on a pure damage buckets and mulitpliers and you will see that these basic attack skills do double or triple the damage of the next best core skill builds. Its not even close

I've found this to be true in game. I dropped Tal rasha's in favor of a ring with GA for Attack speed (among other things). I actually dropped Conceited to get Accelerating. With Frozen Orb I just stacked as much attack speed as my mana could sustain and it's been very successful. Hopefully more people watch the video, especially some of the big streamers who have Blizzard's ear. Basically sorc can't do damage like the other classes (excluding druids). What they DID do was nerf the Pit today (heavily). But, yeah, sorcs are near the bottom again. Really sorry about the meteor sorc. I am going to link your video to another streamer who does meteor builds. He needs to see this.

Sorc currently has 3 A-tier builds and 1 S-tier. They are fine!

I feel your frustrating. There are so many cool builds to theory-craft and play, but they just deal no damage. Listen, my 300h no-life relentless farming with near perfect gear seasonal Sorc - is still struggling in the Pit 100's, meanwhile my 4 hour semi-naked barb is casually speed farming them in sub 2 min. The imbalance is so massive they don't even play the same game. I think we also just struggle with the quantity of aspects. We have Rogues and Barbs just having multiple weapons and more aspects, and like you said, access to some crazy global multipliers we simply don't have. Its just no match. Everybody was expecting major buffs for the mid-season patch, and for good reasons right. This was not a problem of high expectations, it was so stupidly obvious and we got nothing. I mean sure, we got a bit more tanky but nothing to fix our lacking damage. I see all the sorc mains being demoralized atm, hopefully we can get some decent buffs in the near future.

Interesting game 2 (timestamp: 29.49). Is the line this?: 1. Trade Luke in to Han 2. Opponent - He then traitorous your Falcon (If he doesn't and attacks you with the Bright Hope you can send in the Falcon to trade) 3.Then play Cunning tapping Bright Hope and Leah and returning the Falcon back to your hand?

These were probably some of the most fun games of SWU I've played. Game one I completely threw and I probably should've mulliganed if I didn't - I don't remember. Some insight into decisions I made, for anyone interested: 2:51 Not sure if I had a 3 cost play, but if I did, I should have played it before attacking with marine. I didn't know about the resource exhausting part of Chopper's ability and only thought it milled. Lesson learned - read the card. 12:05 That was the same second Chewbacca after two bounces lol. 17:20 I think I took the kannan because I didn't have a good answer or way of racing it since it's well-statted and heals. Maybe not the right choice, but I knew I could traitorous the falcon and went with it. 25:00 I could've used traitorous on the falcon here, but opted not to since it couldn't hit my base with the bright hope in play and I wanted to claim. If I traitorous, I can't cunning next turn before Luke attacks since he would claim instead. At this point I know the Luke is out of control and I need to just race. 38:24-39:00 This was an interesting sequence. I waited on spark so I could attack with the bright hope to get in the damage before falcon could kill it. After the Luke deploy, I had the choice of pushing damage with marine and hoping he didn't have the saber or sparking on the off-chance he had it and potentially losing marine for free to Luke. In hindsight, I probably should've sparked and if Didier attacks Luke into marine I kill luke with Han and that's a pretty favorable trade. The only way that could maybe go wrong is if I spark and there's double saber in hand.

Been playing a budget version of this archetype,. and can confirm it feels super smooth into a lot of the decks in the meta. Great explanation tho, i will upgrade my list according to this video :D
